Attendees to this program are encouraged to successfully complete Basic Principles and Practices before taking this course.

 

This three day course covers the following specific areas: a brief view of the exterior system covered in 4.1; a more in-depth explanation of testing for leakage, pressure test, leak check, leak test, regulator flow and lockup testing; conducting interior site assessments; review all types of systems and how they operate differently; connecting regulator and/or vapor meter to interior gas piping; leak check procedures; different methods and code requirements for purging air from gas piping; placing appliances into operation; emergency response to uncontrolled releases of propane; identifying venting requirements; validating combustion air requirements; and customer safety education.
